Phase: I

This project was started in the F.Y. 2016-17. The aim of this project is to create a model village with integrated development:-

• Basic amenities like drinking water, sanitation, lighting etc.
• Improvement of health conditions
• Awareness and quality education
• Infrastructure development with the help of local people
• Sustainable livelihood opportunities
• Financial awareness & participation in maintenance activities

More than 200 toilets have been built in No.1 Chapatoli Village near Bhadoi Panchali which is declared as Open Defecation Free (ODF) . On the livelihood front, improved rice cultivation method(System of Rice Intensification) had shown outstanding results with more than double produce. Vegetable cultivation and organic manure production is also going on. For safe drinking water, solar plants and water tanks were set up. The project was successfully completed in 2019 .The implementing partner of AGCL was Rashtriya Gramin Vikash Nidhi (RGVN) to create the model village.

Phase: II

Following the success of the Phase-I, another village Bhadoi Nagar near Bhadoi Panchali was taken up in 2020 under Project Rupkothar Gaon Phase II in order to create provisions for enhancing the income generating capabilities of the villagers through appropriate nterventions in a selected set of primary economic activities such as agriculture, horticulture, nursery, Agro service centre, infrastructure & equipment, clean drinking water with 2 units solar powered water filtration system etc for 150 families were set up. The Rastriya Gramin Vikas Nidhi (RGVN) was the implementing agency for the project. Project was successfully completed in 2022
